Blood is an essential part of human existence. Blood donation is a life-saving gift; it helps ensure injured or trauma patients in need of blood get the blood they need when they should.
We say a big ‘’Thank you’’ to our amazing volunteers from VMC Naalya chapter, Uganda, who organized their second highly successful blood donation drive this year. This was done in response to the urgent need for blood by the Uganda National Blood Transfusion Service. The drive gave people from the community an opportunity to be a part of saving lives by donating their blood for free.
