CANCER PREVENTION SEMINAR ZIMRE PARK, ZIMBABWE

  • Feb 21, 2020

In Zimbabwe, every year there are over 5,000 new cancer diagnoses and  at least 1,000 recorded deaths.
Many do not readily have access to screening tests for some of the more prevalent cancers like cervical cancer hence the drive of the VMC volunteers to organise health education seminars on cancer prevention in their cities.

The VMC members of Zimre Park Chapter
The VMC members educated 32 women in their community about Breast and Cervical Cancer prevention and early detection. They learnt about self-breast examination and other lifestyle changes.
Information and educational pamphlets were also distributed along with Christian literature.

Join us to shine the light of hope  by spreading the word about this project.
