Prisoners are people too and have a right to good living conditions. Many prisons endanger prisoners in threatening living conditions like extreme heat or cold, contaminated food, and poor sanitary conditions that can facilitate the transmission of communicable diseases. The Volunteer Medical Corps Pointe-Noire Chapter in Congo Brazzaville visited the temporary prison of the central court of justice, Pointe-Noire. Our volunteers took time to tidy the prison environment, ensuring healthier and better living conditions for the prisoners and prison wardens.
Together we can impact more lives, and make the world a better place
