In a bid to provide health care and succor to the sick and to those in need, the VMC Durban Group organized a mega outreach to the displaced community of TEHUIS MASS CARE CENTRE UMLAZI in partnership with the local Red Cross Chapter.
These families had been living in 2 tents erected since a flood incident within the community in March.
Items provided to them includes hygiene packs, sanitary pads, disposable baby diapers and food parcels.
Health concerns that were addressed includes:
-Hygiene and allied health issues
-Chronic medical conditions
We are grateful for the opportunity to save lives every day and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to our world.
