This center is the oldest public hospital in the nation and serves as the primary treatment location for the entire southeastern part of Jamaica.
As part of the activities of the VMC’s Global Hospital Outreach Campaign; members of the VMC visited the hospital to minister to the sick and to make a generous donation of medical and sanitary supplies including personal protective equipment (PPE), cleaning and disinfection materials among other items to the hospital management.
This good deed carried out by the volunteers was inspired by the need to contribute actively to improving the health outcomes of the patients being managed in the hospital while creating an avenue for the communication of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the patients, the relatives, and the health care personnel.
