VITAMIN B3

  • Jun 09, 2021

Vitamin B3, also known as niacin, is a very vital nutrient. It is so important that every part of your body needs it to function properly. It helps lower cholesterol, boost brain function, and help improve the skin. Having enough niacin or vitamin B3 in the body is important for general good health.

A healthful diet can provide all of a person’s vitamin B3 needs. Some good sources of vitamin B3 include:

  • Liver: The liver is one of the best natural sources of niacin.
  • Chicken breast: Chicken, especially breast meat, is a good source of both niacin and lean protein.
  • Tuna: Tuna is a good source of niacin and a great option for people who eat fish but not meat.
  • Salmon
  • Anchovies.
  • Pork.
  • Ground Beef.
  • Milk
  • Green leafy vegetables
  • Cereals.
