In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, which impacted communities in October last year, the VMC Jamaica Chapter stepped forward to support affected families in Pisgah, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Recognizing the ongoing challenges many households continue to face, the team organized a community outreach to provide timely relief and encouragement.
During the outreach, families received essential hygiene supplies, clothing, and other relief items to help restore comfort and meet basic needs. This gooddeed was carried out with empathy and a strong spirit of service, ensuring that each beneficiary felt seen, valued, and supported.
Beyond the material assistance, the outreach served as a reminder that no community stands alone in difficult times. The Volunteer Medical Corps remains committed to responding with compassion and practical action, bringing hope and relief to those in need.
