Members of VMC Bangalore and Kanyakumari chapters organized a free medical camp for Rohingya and Bangladeshi refugees at Thirumenahalli Main Road, Bangalore, India, providing them essential healthcare services. The outreach focused on delivering accessible and compassionate medical care to those with limited access to health facilities.
During the camp, beneficiaries received medical consultations, health assessments, and medications tailored to their specific complaints. Common conditions attended to included diabetes, asthma, kidney stones, as well as symptoms such as general weakness and body pains. Necessary medications were dispensed accordingly, and patients were given guidance on managing their health conditions effectively.
The initiative served as a vital intervention in promoting health awareness, early detection, and proper treatment, positively impacting the wellbeing of the refugee community.
We invite all medics, volunteers, and healthcare practitioners to join and support the impactful work of the VMC. Your skills, time, gooddeeds, and dedication can help us reach more vulnerable communities and extend life-saving care to those who need it most. Together, we can make quality healthcare accessible to all.
