Through the community volunteering project, the Volunteer Medical Corps chapters/volunteers collaborate with local health authorities to ensure equitable health care access for those in their communities.

Members of VMC PH Zone 1 were not left out as they were led by the esteemed Dr. Nnenna to embark on a free medical and surgical outreach for the residents of Rumunduru Community. Seven free correctional surgical procedures were carried out, including procedures such as lumpectomies, axilla, herniorrhaphy, hydrocelectomy, and free drugs were also administered. The residents were filled with joy and gratitude as over 90 of them benefitted from this intervention. Thank you, VMC PH Zone 1 for making a difference!
