GOOD DEEDS ALERT
The National Blood Transfusion Service of Uganda in recognition of the VMC's role in improving health care access partnered with the VMC in Uganda and the Trauma Care International Foundation to combat acute scarcity of safe blood for transfusion in the nation through the organization of multiple voluntary blood drives.
Our ever vibrant team of volunteers have organized 3 massive blood drives in less than 20 days!
These blood drives also led to the establishment of new VMC Chapters in Wandegeya and in Kyaliwajala towns with hundreds of donors turning up to give blood.
