Blood donation is a voluntary practice that helps the sick or injured get the blood transfusion they require. Excessive blood loss can cause an untimely death if the need is not fulfilled immediately. Hence, blood donation is a life-saving procedure. Our volunteers in VMC Wandegaya Uganda carried out a voluntary blood donation exercise in collaboration with the Trauma Care International Foundation, and at this event, 57 units of blood were donated! Through this act of love, no less than 150 lives were impacted. We are indeed saving lives every day!
