The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in secondary impact on girls’ and women’s ability to manage their menstruation and their health in a dignified way. The most affected women are those located in many low-income communities. To help mitigate the impact of lack of access to menstrual materials and hygiene supplies, Our volunteers in VMC Kabwe Chapter Zambia provided health education to teenage girls and women and distributed sanitary pads to those present.
The girls were educated on the importance of menstrual hygiene and also on regular hand washing.
Many also gave their hearts to Christ.
