1.       Citrus Fruits: They are laden with Vitamin C which is a good anti-oxidant, examples include fruits like oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, lemons. Citrus fruits are generally great for dealing with flu-like symptoms and improving bowel movements.

2.      Vegetables: such as lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, zucchini, cucumbers, etc.

They are low-calorie food choices that are also rich in fiber, antioxidants, vitamins A, C and E, and other micronutrients.

3.       Yogurt: anyone ready for a parfait! Yogurts are good for immune stimulation as they encourage the body to fight disease-causing microbes. Go for plain unsweetened yogurt which usually has less sugar and flavoring and thus fewer calories.
